Cheadle Community Club
Who We Are
Your Cheadle Community Club is a non-profit organization comprised of volunteers who, since 1923, are dedicated to improving the community around us.
What We Do
Your club looks after everything to do with the Cheadle Hall including paying the bills and managing finances, on-going upkeep, long term capital repairs, managing all aspects of hall rentals and the planning and execution of community events.
Moreover, we also work on projects that we feel add to our community and way of life. For instance, the Cheadle Playground and the Cheadle Ice Rink.
In Conclusion, our volunteers work hard to research, plan, apply for grants and AGLC funding, execute these projects, followed by all the financial reporting.
Without Support
None of this would be possible.
The Cheadle Community Club would like to thank Wheatland County, The Community Enhancement Regional Board and the Cheadle Lions without their ongoing financial support the operation of the Cheadle Hall and special community projects would not be possible.
In addition, we would also like to thank Alberta Culture and Tourism and The Community Facility Enhancement Program for their contributions made to make the Cheadle Ice Rink upgrades possible.
Secondly, donations from local businesses and individuals continue to be key to our success. We would like to thank: Carnivals For Kids At Heart, Barbeejay Supplies, Grey’s Limited, Thiessen Farms, Earth Renew, CHS Canada LP, M&M Drilling Co., Strathmore Elks, Cheadle Lions Club, Wheatland County, Bruce Farms, Leger Air Vac Systems, Ember Resources, Plain Jane Events, K.M.W. Heating and Air Conditioning Ltd., Remi’s Mechanical Services LTD., Nomad Electrical Services and Trust Plumbing & Gasfitting LTD.
In short, we would not have survived since 1923 without community support. The board members, past and present, and the individual volunteers that have put in countless hours towards a better community.
Thank you!
